Insider told the site: ‘They dated for two years and have broken up. It’s not because they don’t love each other, they do. They are still friends.’
Venus, 39, reportedly brought Nicky as her date to her sister Serena William’s wedding back in November 2017, and things seemed to be headed in the right direction at the time.
Over the summer Nicky gave Venus a ring, although sources contended it was a ‘friendship ring’ and nothing more.An heir to the Annenberg family fortune, Nicky is 12 years Venus’ junior.
According to insiders, the reasons behind the split is not entirely clear. Some sources say the relationship had ran its course while others claim Venus was ready to settle down while Nicky was not.
Nicky was a huge supporter of Venus.He often could be seen in the stands cheering her on at tournaments, and even went to the Australian open to show his support.
