Taylor Swift Performs 2 Mashups as Surprise Songs at 2nd Sydney Eras Tour Show

Taylor Swift is unveiling more musical surprises while on tour in Sydney!

On Saturday, the singer, 34, blessed fans with two mashup performances of her songs during the surprise portion of her second Eras concert show in Sydney, Australia. The surprise tracks have become a special point of excitement for fans, as Swift includes two acoustic songs from her 10 studio albums — ones that are not on her main setlist — during each of her Eras Tour shows.

In a video posted from the concert on X (formerly Twitter), Swift sat by a piano onstage as she performed a mashup of her 2017 single, “New Year’s Day” and 2020 song “’Peace” to the roughly 81,000 fans at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

The second mashup performed by Swift during the concert was of her 2006 song “Should’ve Said No” and 2008 hit “You’re Not Sorry.” Another fan video on X captured the singer at her piano as she performed the medley.

Swift’s latest surprise mashups came after delighting fans on Friday night during her first show in Sydney by performing a duet with Sabrina Carpenter — a medley of “White Horse” and “Coney Island.”

The joint performance came after Carpenter’s opening act was canceled due to bad weather delaying the show on Friday. On Saturday, Swift praised Carpenter, 24, following their duet during her second show as she revealed her sweet text interaction with the singer to the crowds.

“I texted Sabrina and said, ‘How are they out there?’ and her response was ‘Extremely lit and amazing’, ” the “Love Story” singer shared, before asking the audience to “give it up” for Carpenter.

Although Kelce was in attendance at her concert Friday night, it wasn’t the first time that he has seen his leading lady take the stage.

The player made a move on the singer in July 2023 after attending one of her shows in Missouri.

Despite initially being turned away by the singer, Swift decided to give Kelce a shot and the pair went public with their romance in September.

A few months later, the Chiefs star flew down to Argentina during his bye week to watch one of the singer-songwriter’s concerts.

While he only got to see one show due to inclement weather, the pair gave people a lot to talk about.

The pair were also caught sharing a passionate kiss after the show, with Swift running into Kelce’s arms as the hunky athlete waited for her backstage.
