While Princess Kate continues her treatment for cancer, she is also looking ahead to future endeavors for her royal work.In a new message posted on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter), Kate shared a note to British TV show host Dwayne Fields, who was named the new U.K. Chief Scout of youth development organization Scouts.

Kate became a joint president of Scouts back in 2020, becoming the first woman to hold the position in the nonprofit’s history. She works alongside fellow joint president Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent.Replying to a video message of Fields introducing himself and the work he plans to accomplish under his new role, Kate congratulated the adventurer on his appointment.“Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as the new UK Chief Scout,” the royal wrote on X.
