Meghan Markle warned UK visit ‘highly unfavourable’ as Sussexes branded ‘unpredictable’

Meghan Markle has been warned an upcoming visit to the UK would be “highly unfavourable”, with Prince Harry and his wife branded “unpredictable”.

Tensions between the Sussexes and the Royal Family have exploded following several claims the couple made – first in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and their Netflix documentary series. Harry then made further damning claims in his memoir, Spare.

Harry and Meghan, could be set to return to the UK in May to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games in London. They could also reportedly be joined by their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and the family could even meet with the Royal Family.

But royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Daily Express US: “Harry will undoubtedly visit Britain to see his father and his security we know is determined on a case-by-case basis, though he is appealing after losing his High Court case against this.

“We don’t know when Meghan, Archie and Lilibet might be in the UK. There is a lot of speculation that a visit en famille might be arranged for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in May.

Much of the publicity surrounding Meghan – if she comes, she was last here for the Queen’s funeral in September 2022 – would be highly unfavourable because of the way the Sussexes have behaved since they stepped down as senior working royals.

“They are unpredictable, so we will wait and see!”

Earlier this month, the Duke of Sussex visited his father King Charles III after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.

During an interview on Good Morning America, Harry said he plans to make more trips back to the UK.

The Duke said: “I have got other trips planned that would take me through the UK or back to the UK, so you know, I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”
