Taylor Swift doesn’t have much free time in between performing almost every night on her Eras Tour and supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce with the Kansas City Chiefs. Yet the 14-time Grammy award winner stunned her fans when she announced an upcoming new album with a seductive shot in her underwear

The ‘Cruel Summer is set to release her new album titled ‘Tortured Poets Department’ in the coming months after making the surprise announcement when accepting her Grammys at the 2024 awards show.

Swift added another two awards to her collection, winning in the categories of best pop vocal performance and album of the year. By winning the latter, she became the first artist to claim the award four times.

It felt like as good a time as any to market her newest music and immediately, the tone of her album cover sent her loyal legion of ‘Swifties’ into overdrive on social media.

In a post on Instagram, it was confirmed by Swift’s stylist, Joseph Cassell, that she had chosen the underwear from The Row, the label owned by the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley.

The brand is renowned for producing high-end cashmere clothing and reductive designs for its handbags and footwear. Those looking to copy Swift’s look will have to dig deep into their pockets, as the 34-year-old’s recent outfits have proved.

Swift has been seen wearing several items belonging to The Row’s most recent collection, including a hooded maxi dress that costs $3,350 and a $1,290 pair of Chelsea boots.

Shortly after announcing the album on her socials, Swift made the album available for preorder on her website before its official release on April 19, 2024.

There will be several versions of the album available for purchase, including a CD, cassette, vinyl and digital album. According to her website, there will be 16 songs on the album and a bonus track titled ‘The Manuscript’.

The release will follow the conclusion of the Eras Tour, which has been a huge success and a sellout in most countries, although it remains unclear whether Swift’s new album will feature in her final shows.
