The family of one of the three Kansas City Chiefs fans found dead in a friend’s snowy yard has suggested the possibility of foul play, speculating that they could have been drugged and left for dead.

Ricky Johnson’s father made the unfounded allegation, despite law enforcement not treating the deaths as suspicious and emphasizing the uncertainty regarding the involvement of alcohol or drugs.

Jordan Willis, the friend inside the house where the victims were found, an HIV data scientist, denies any knowledge of the situation, claiming he was asleep with headphones on.

Johnson’s father insisted that his son, along with friends David Harrington and Clayton McGeeney, would not have acted irresponsibly by going outside in the snow without proper clothing.

“I believe [Willis] drugged them, dragged them outside and waited two days to call police,” Johnson Sr. said.

“[My son] may have done some drugs and stuff in the past, but I do not believe all three of them did drugs and fell over dead in that backyard.

“I’m not going to say that during a game he didn’t have some drinks. But he wasn’t irresponsible that he was going to go outside and freeze to death.

“You’re talking about three grown men. If he was out there just freezing like they said, he could’ve kicked out a window to get into the house.”

When police responded to the house where three Kansas City Chiefs fans were found dead, Willis, the friend inside, reportedly met them at the door in his boxers holding an empty wine glass.

Willis’ attorney clarified that the glass contained water and had been refilled after being used for wine the previous night.

According to Willis’ lawyer, he was asleep on the couch during the two days when the victims’ relatives were searching for them.
