Chiefs return to Vegas to party, celebrate Super Bowl win again

The Super Bowl champs are back in Las Vegas this weekend to celebrate — again — their victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11. Immediately after their Super Bowl win, the Chiefs partied at Zouk nightclub in Resorts World. Afterward, quarterback Patrick Mahomes headlined a parade at Disneyland, and the entire team reunited in Kansas City for a parade. That’s left just a few days for relaxing with loved ones before jumping right back into the party scene. (Tight end Travis Kelce flew straight from Australia, where he briefly joined girlfriend Taylor Swift on her Eras tour.)

On Saturday, the team was photographed at Lavo, an Italian restaurant inside the Venetian. Although it was for a brunch party, the vibes were decidedly more like a nightclub, with Mahomes sporting sunglasses indoors and magnums of champagne passed around.

Next up, the Chiefs went to XS nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday night. The private party included Marshmellow as the DJ; he played Swift’s “Love Story” to the elation of the crowd, as well as Queen’s “We Are the Champions,” prompting a singalong with Mahomes and Kelce. No doubt to the displeasure of Bay Area 49ers fans, Kelce was also seen rapping to the Too Short classic “Blow the Whistle.”

It’s been a relatively more sedate offseason for the 49ers. George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey and Kyle Juszczyk were spotted with their partners in Cabo San Lucas, and it appears at least two 49ers weddings are coming up. McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo, as well as quarterback Brock Purdy and his fiancee Jenna Brandt, are set to marry this offseason.
