Connor McCaffery is celebrating his girlfriend Caitlin Clark through the good times and the bad.

“My GOAT,” the former college basketball player, 25, wrote on his Instagram Stories, alongside an image of Clark leaving the court for the final time in her college career following Iowa’s loss to South Carolina in the title game on Sunday.

Despite coming up short in the big game, Clark finished with a game-high 30 points, including a scorching 18 in the first quarter. The 22-year-old shot 5-13 from the 3-point line and finished her career with 3,951 points.

Last month in the final game of the regular season, the icon eclipsed Pete Maravich’s long held all-time collegiate scoring record of 3,667.

McCaffery enjoyed his own successful basketball career at Iowa, where he played under his father, head coach Fran McCaffery. Connor also played on the school’s baseball team.

After graduating with bachelor’s degrees in political science and finance in May 2023, he landed a job with the Indiana Pacers.

McCaffery’s location could be ideal if Clark is drafted by the Indiana Fever as the No. 1 draft pick, as expected.

The WNBA Draft is on Monday, April 15 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
