Cavaliers Share Tribute Footage of Travis and Jason Kelce as Kids That Will Melt Your Heart

The football stars were honored by the Cleveland Cavaliers after Jason announced his retirement.

As the sports world reels from Jason Kelce’s retirement announcement, many celebrities and teams are paying tribute to the football star, with the Cleveland Cavaliers the latest to do so during the team’s “Bobblehead Night.”

The basketball team honored their hometown hero, along with younger brother Travis, with a sweet video showing the two as kids having fun all the way up to their dual debut in the NFL.

TikToker Jessica Golich shared a clip from the tribute on the social media site, captioning it, “Wait until the end to see Jason/Trav celebrate .” The video begins with a clip of Jason as a baby eating a cake with his fingers, before moving through some of the brothers’ adventures on family vacations, holidays and casual nights playing sports together.

The video then cuts to impressive highlights from Jason’s professional football career, including his major Super Bowl win, the first in Philadelphia Eagles franchise history. The montage ended with a video of Travis and Jason holding each other’s football jerseys before Travis leaned over to give his older brother a kiss on the cheek. Text reading, “Congratulations Jason on an amazing career,” appeared on screen to conclude the sweet tribute.

At the Cavaliers game, the team then awarded Jason with a framed jersey with his name and number on it, while bobbleheads of the two brothers were given out that night.

“They made his retirement so special, I don’t think i ever remember anyone else’s being this beautiful & sentimental & sad. So many emotions ,” commented a fan in reaction to the tribute.
